A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

You are a man in a room. A puppet in purgatory. Simulated flesh in a digital prison. There is no escape. You won't scream, because you're not programmed to. Your choices matter as much as anything matters, so the bar is fairly low.

"A Living Room" is a short existential point-and-click non-adventure that you should be able to finish in less than an hour. Hurry up, please. It will all be over soon.

Content warning: Game dialogue contains themes of violence, death, and drugs.

(The Linux version isn't properly tested yet but will hopefully work too.)

I'm currently stuck after putting the lemon seed in the vase. What do I do next?

EDIT: Also, the TV doesn't have subtitles. The man must've forgotten to turn on CC for it!

EDIT 2: I read a guide on Steam and completed the game! Also, the subtitle issue only happens on the itch.io upload, for whatever reason.

Hmm, that's weird. The Itch.io version should have subtitles too.

Thanks for letting me know about the issue, I'll check if I can find what's causing it. There were some other minor bugs in the game still anyway, so I'll reupload all the files here soon - but I'll try to get the subtitles working for the update too.
